In order to better serve outdoor workers and pedestrians, the Shanghai Fengxian District Landscaping and City Appearance Administrative Bureau has launched the first batch of "Sharing Toilets" in the city, as part of its efforts to pool public support to jointly create an intensive toilet service network in the district.
Taking into consideration the existing layout of public toilets, the flow of people and people's needs for using toilet, the Fengxian District Landscaping and City Appearance Administrative Bureau has selected restrooms in six places such as Xiaoyuanguo Restaurant and District Service Center as the first batch of pilot public restrooms.

Food delivery worker Xin often has trouble finding public toilets when delivering food. "If the public toilet is far away, you may ride fast to find the toilet. It may cause traffic accidents. The sharing toilets will really make a difference."
