Chinese health authority said on Friday it received reports of 12 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on Thursday, among which six was domestically contracted and six were imported.
The Chinese mainland registered no deaths and three suspected cases on Thursday.
According to the National Health Commission, 32 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery, while the number of severe cases decreased by three to 38.
As of Thursday, the mainland had reported a total of 1,670 imported cases. Of the cases, 1,165 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery and seven were in severe condition, said the commission.
Also on Thursday, 25 new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported on the mainland, all domestically contracted cases. The commission said 981 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation, including 115 from abroad.
