A traffic accident occurred at the intersection of West Lushan Road (Nanyan Section) in Luli Village, Chenguan Town, Guangrao County in east China's Shandong Province on Saturday. A heavy truck collided with a van, killing four and injuring three others.

After the accident, local authorities immediately activated a contingency plan. The injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment, and the truck driver has been arrested by the police. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
