Primary and middle schools in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, will officially open on March 1, according to the work plan for the 2021 spring semester, said the Shijiazhuang Education Bureau on Sunday.

In total, 1,693 primary and secondary schools and 1.45 million teachers and students in Shijiazhuang will return to in-person schooling. Secondary vocational schools, as well as primary and secondary schools in the Gaocheng district of the Hebei capital city will carry out online teaching. The kindergarten term begins after March 8.
