London (People's Daily) - A spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in the UK on Sunday rejected the claim that China is involved in "stealing British intelligence" as completely fabricated and a malicious slander.

The remarks were made in response to a report by British media that said two British men were arrested on suspicion of providing intelligence to China.

“We firmly oppose the claim and urge relevant parties in the UK to stop their anti-China political manipulation and stop putting on such self-staged political farce,” the spokesperson said.
