Bangkok (People's Daily) - One new coronavirus case was confirmed in Laos as of Wednesday afternoon, according to a statement from the country’s health ministry. The new coronavirus case is a Lao person who returned from the UK.

The total number of infections has risen to 15 and all of patients have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported. 

The Laos government on last Friday restricted traffic and activities to control the pandemic, and banned people from entering or leaving the country until April 19.
