NEW YORK, July 17 (Xinhua) -- A 5.4-magnitude earthquake jolted 227km West of Bandon, Oregon at 14:59:59 GMT on Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 43.4767 degrees north latitude and 127.1646 degrees west longitude.
