Minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission Li Bin has vowed greater reforms in medical and healthcare, as existing services continue to keep up with growing demand.
She said China will expand the coverage of family doctor services, which currently helps 430 million people.
China will also do more to fight poverty and focus on extremely poor regions, she added.
