Fifteen years ago, a magnitude 8 earthquake devastated Wenchuan county in Southwest China’s Sichuan Province, killing more than 69,000 people, injuring 374,000 people and rendering 19.9 million people homeless.

The quake left behind a trail of aftershocks, disability and heartache. The survivors will never forget May 12, 2008 and today many are making the best of their lives.
