According to Zhang, she was on the way home after hosting an event at the convention when she got stuck in a traffic jam due to the hard rain, and at the sight of the man's collapse, Zhang and her partners didn't hesitate to get out of the car to provide help.
According to her preliminary assessment, the man fainted due to hypoglycemia, and his unconscious state became further aggravated while waiting for the arrival of the ambulance.
Fortunately, the man recovered after treatment.
After the good deed went viral on the internet, netizens left comments and gave numerous "thumbs-up" on Zhang's personal social media account as they poured out praise for the young woman.
After learning that her outfit had become soaked and damaged, the manufacturer of the costume promised to send her a new one for free.
When responding to people's complimentary remarks, Zhang said that she just did what a doctor with her professional knowledge should do.
"Cosplaying is my hobby while saving lives is a doctor's bound duty. I can't take all the credit, because everyone there was helping as well,” she said.
