Manila (People’s Daily) - The four-day 51st annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) began today in Manila, Philippines, with the theme, “Linking People and Economies for Inclusive Development”.
Over 3,000 participants from Asia, North America, and Europe are expected to attend the meeting, including finance ministers, central bank governors, private sector representatives, development partners, academics, members of civil society, media, and the youth from the Asia-Pacific region.
The meeting will focus on global and regional issues affecting development in Asia and the Pacific.
Various other events will be held during the annual meeting, including thematic seminars on regional cooperation, energy systems, aging, and jobs of the future.
