Advanced equipment and talent are the keys to turning China into a strong manufacturer, Dong Mingzhu, a deputy to the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) and the chairwoman of Gree Electric Appliances, said.

She explained that Gree now owns more than 100 kinds of smart equipment to help Gree’s production better meet the consumer demand.

The company also realizes the importance of talent training, so 12 research institutes with more than 10,000 researchers have been established.
