Recently, an airplane themed cafeteria has attracted a large number of students at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) Jiangning Campus.

The cafeteria was designed to completely imitate a cabin on an airplane. Each booth  has a window beside it, just like real airplanes. The windows display an illusion of flight to add to the aesthetic.

After the renovation of the cafeteria, it received enormous support from the students. The reception for the new cafeteria went over so well that it is hard to find a seat most days. The university now carries out a meal ticket system, which students need to get a meal and helps ensure security.
