Ministry of Commerce commented on 2018 Special 301 Report issued by United States Trade Representative(USTR) Saturday, opposing US to further place China on the Priority Watch List in this year’s report.

The US side’s act ignores the real facts. In this context, “China urges the US side to earnestly implement the bilateral commitment, respect facts, be objective and fair in evaluating foreign governments’ efforts in intellectual property rights protection, including China,” said a director of China’s Ministry of Commerce.

“The Chinese government stresses protecting IPR by formulating laws and regulations of international standards and improving its overall business environemnt. China is willing to carry out cooperation with other countries in this filed,” added the director.
