New York (People's Daily) – Chinese art displayed on the NASDAQ screens of Times Square in New York City on Thursday.

Themed as "Prosperous China, Prosperous World", the exhibit showcased Chinese paintings and calligraphy.

Through the unique creative manifestation, the show enabled audiences in the US and from all over the world to get a better understanding of China via the Chinese artistic form, said Zai You, the organizer and artist of the event, noting it can further expand communication approaches and new media resources.

"Increasing exposure of Chinese culture on the international stage has promoted the folk culture exchange and friendship between China and the world,” Zai added.
