Washington (People's Daily) - US President Donald Trump announced in his tweet that he fired National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster Thursday, and named John Bolton, former ambassador to the United Nations and conservative foreign policy commentator, to succeed McMaster.  

Bolton will take over April 9, the White House said.
