Chinese President Xi Jinping's special representative Yang Jiechi will pay a visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK) from March 29 to 30.

Yang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the head of the General Office of the Central Committee for Foreign Affairs, will visit at the invitation of the ROK government, foreign ministry spokesperson Lu Kang announced Wednesday at a daily press briefing.
