During a group discussion at this year’s Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Jackie Chan told reporters that he would donate all his personal collection, including traditional architectures and art pieces, reported ifeng.com.

“(I’m) Putting them all in Bengbu, Anhui Province to build a Long Wen Hua Guan or a 'Dragon Cultural Center,'” Chan said. Dragon is symbolic of Chinese culture and the meaning of second character in Chan’s Chinese name.

Chan explained the reason for such center is to build to educate young people and nurture their love for traditional Chinese culture.

“Many traditional Chinese architectures need to be repaired. I wish more young people can learn about their restoration process,” Chan said. “The buildings and paintings, stonework inside them are incredibly beautiful.”
