An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted 146km ESE of Rota, Northern Mariana Islands on the West Pacific Ocean at 23:14:18 GMT on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 41.9 km, was initially determined to be at 13.835 degrees north latitude and 146.521 degrees east longitude.
