From December 2015 to February 2018, the Ningbo Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and Fenghua District Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Relics conducted field archaeological work and excavation, including aerial photography, radar scanning, image analysis, and 3-D scanning. The archaeological team also discovered the site of the original Yin County with 750-meter perimeters and 37,000-square-meter area, which was enclosed by mountains and rivers.
