Islamabad - China has taken a historical step through a resolution passed at the National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on October 24, which put the country on the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, said Javed Akhtar, who works at the Independent News Pakistan (INP) as the In-charge Pak-China News Desk.
All people around the world including Pakistan have witnessed this historical action and the new ideology of Xi Jinping, who is going to lead the country for another five year as the General Secretary of CPC.
As the socialism with Chinese characteristics represents Xi’s new vision that the people are the first in running government affairs, China’s development in the next five years is likely to prioritize attracting foreign investment, brining reforms and innovations and protecting environment, so as to ensure the Chinese residents’ better life, Akhtar said.
“It is heartening to see that Xi’s though on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, with the amendments in the CPC Constitution being the component of the Party guide for action in the next era,” Akhtar noted.
Xi’s thought will lay a solid foundation for the country to demonstrate great strength and vitality in realizing the China dreams, Akhtar noted.
