The 6.5-magnitude quake was followed by a series of aftershocks as strong as intensity five.

Taiwan's earthquake experts expect more quakes in the coming weeks.

Trump wants a military parade in 2018: The Post

Donald Trump wants a grand military parade in DC. sometime this year.

That's according to a Washington Post report.

The report says the US president has been interested in having a military parade as early as last July.

That’s when he was invited to be a guest at the French National Day military parade.

China's sprinter Su sets new Asian record of 60m again

China's sprinter Su Bingtian has set a new Asian record.

Su set the record at an IAAF World Indoor Tour event.

Su was the first Asian-born athlete to break the 10-second mark in the 100-meter sprint in 2015.

Su will also be competing at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in March.

DPRK's cheering squad crosses inter-Korean border to S.Korea for Winter Olympics

A North Korean cheering squad crossed the inter-Korean land border to South Korea for the Winter Olympics later this week.

North Korea is sending a 280-member delegation, including 229 cheerleaders.

It marks the first time in 13 years that North Korean cheerleaders will be rooting for both South and North Korean athletes in an international sports event hosted by South Korea.

Skater Zhou Yang named flag-bearer for China at Olympics opening ceremony

Short-track speed skater Zhou Yang was chosen as China's flag-bearer at the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

The three-time Olympic gold medalist will compete in her third consecutive Olympic Games.
