Drones designed for logistics service are now allowed to work in authorized regions after the East China branch of the Civil Aviation Administration issued the first permit on drone operations in Jiangxi Province in South China on Tuesday.

The regulation will bring the pilotless logistics into blossom and end the last-mile worry that carrying goods from airport to rural areas needs huge resources, said Wu Xiaojun, Jianigxi's vice-governor, at the permit release meeting.

The drones' introduction enables air logistics systems to reach further into the countryside, allowing appealing produce to flow much easier into cities, said Wang Zhiqing, deputy director of  the Civil Aviation Administration.
