Despite many difficulties, China-India relations continue to grow, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi said at a press conference on Thursday.

“Chinese and Indian leaders have reached a strategic vision for the future of their relations. China’s dragon and India’s elephant must not fight each other but dance with each other. If China and India unite, one plus one is not equal to two, but more,” he added.

He also said China and India should work together and support each other.

“Mutual interest is the most precious commodity in China-India relations. A shared understanding far outweighs our differences, and our common interests far outweigh our frictions,”  Wang stressed.
