Cairo (People's Daily) - State-owned Egyptian daily Akhbar Al Yawm reported on Thursday that incumbent Egyptian Preisident Abdul Fattah Sisi won the country's presidential election. More than 90% of the votes went to Sisi. However, the official results are scheduled to be released on April 2.
A total of 60 million people were eligible to vote in the three-day election from Monday to Wednesday.
