Today is the fifth day of the Chinese New Year. Everybody is eating dumplings, especially those who live in the north, but please remember to take gentle bites since you may find a coin in the dumpling you are eating. Don't panic; it is a Chinese tradition that a coin is inserted into a dumpling, and if you get it, you have luck for the rest of the year.

The Chinese believe that by sweeping away the garbage, you'll get rid of bad luck. Why? Because in Chinese, "Sui Xie" means "garbage" and "Xie Sui" means evil things that make you struggle. These two sound similar, so by getting rid of the garbage, you'll also get rid of those evil things. Chop! Chop! It is cleaning time!
