Video: Expats share their views on 'happiness'

March 20 is International Happiness Day. Global Times conducted an interview with expats on their sense of happiness. When asked about the definition of happiness, Sarah, from the US, said that happiness is "Waking up every day and looking forward to the next one and enjoying the people and places in your life".

"Happiness is something that money can't buy. It's being together with friends and family," said Charlie from Germany.


Though the definition of happiness varies from person to person, many people's happiest moments in life are somewhat similar as three of the interviewees recollected their memories of having a newborn baby. What do you think happiness is? Now click the video to see some happy moments.
