During a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Capitol Hill, Jan. 16, 2018, in Washington, Sen. Cory Booker questions Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen as she said she didn’t remember the specific words that US President Donald Trump used to refer to African nations in the Oval office immigration reform.
Booker criticizes Nielsen that her “silence and amnesia is complicity” and notes that it is unacceptable for him to hear the word that Donald used to refer to people from African countries and Haitians.
