Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the publication of the new Russian state, it was established by the Government of the Russian Federation. Its first issue of the newspaper was published on November 11, 1990.

Rossiyskaya Gazeta is the official publication. After publication on it, government documents come into force here. At the same time, Rossiyskaya Gazeta is a publication for the reader, it has everything from news, reports and interviews of statesmen to competent comments on documents. Circulation of the newspaper: 160,000 copies (December 2016).

Rossiyskaya Gazeta is printed in 44 cities of the country (daily issue) and in 47 cities (weekly issue), newspaper issues are accompanied by regional tabs, as well as thematic applications. In the framework of the project “Library of the RG”, a series of books with government documents and commentaries to them are published.

The domestic news gathering network includes 14 head branches in the largest cities of the country: St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Simferopol, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Kazan, Ufa, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk.

Its bureaus abroad: Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, Israel, India, Italy, Portugal, USA, France, South Korea, Turkey, Japan.
