Recently the Legislative Council in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region(HKSAR) started its nomination of members. Protestor Joshua Wong applied for the election in Kowloon East but refused to endorse the HKSAR Basic Law and didn’t pledge loyalty to the HKSAR in a written acknowledgement. It clearly shows Wong’s evil intention to destroy Hong Kong.

In any country, it is a basic obligation for the public servants to identify with their countries and pledge political loyalty.  In China’s HKSAR, all the candidates for the election should espouse the HKSAR as well as its Basic Law. All the staff governing Hong Kong affairs should love China and Hong Kong. It’s a basic condition and a red line.

Let’s look at protestor Joshua Wong. He has vigorously for many years propagated claims promoting Hong Kong independence, such as “self-determination,” and blatantly denied that the HKSAR is part of China. He has intentionally instigated secessionist, subversive and terrorist activities that severely threaten national security to hammer the established political systems in HKSAR. During last year’s disturbance over proposed legislative amendments in Hong Kong, he repeatedly colluded with foreign forces. For example, he secretly met some foreign working staff based in Hong Kong, attended a so-called “human rights hearing” in US, and travelled to some countries begging for support for interference in Hong Kong and bans on China. His numerous behaviors are meant to oppose China and sabotage Hong Kong. 

Wong has been one of the troublemakers who created the violence and evil activities in Hong Kong, and in reality is the dangerous source of the destruction of stability and prosperity in Hong Kong. He is also a pawn who helped foreign forces meddle in China’s internal affairs. Since Wong chose to stand against China and the interests of Hong Kong, how dare he claim to be qualified to represent Hong Kong residents? 

Of course, his aim in participation in fact is not for the benefit of Hong Kong and local residents. The “mutual destruction” group he sponsors plans to make the election another anti-government movement, so as to push forward a new round of political “mutual destruction.” Wong admitted that they would veto the 2020-2021 budget and paralyze the HKSAR government after winning more than 35 seats to gain a majority in the legislature. If such a saboteur rather than a helper of Hong Kong can be successfully elected in the Legislative Council, then it will be a huge irresponsibility for more than seven million Hong Kong residents and the future of Hong Kong.

Last year the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region disqualified Joshua Wong from the District Council Ordinary Election of the HKSAR for his advocacy of “self-determination” and “Hong Kong independence.” Why was he so high profile in participating in the LegCo election this time? As we all know, it’s because he wanted to use the LegCo to solicit “international focus,” which plainly means inviting foreign forces to support their “mutual destruction.” His hidden motive is to make Hong Kong a “battleground” and profit from the conflicts.

Hong Kong has been wounded following rounds of protest movements and violence incited by Wong’s group advocating “mutual destruction.” However, those rioters pretend to suffer from injustice and sugarcoat collusion and violence as a “fight,” and attribute the “broken” Hong Kong to local police’s violence. The fact is that the Wong-headed “mutual destruction” group serves the initiator of all the evil activities.

Look at the scarred Hong Kong. Haven’t those Wong-like protestors refuse to realize that the time is coming soon for them to pay the price for their “mutual destruction?”
