The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China concluded on Tuesday. "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" was added to the CPC Constitution, a major event for the CPC which has been advancing with the times.

This means the CPC has a new guiding principle to lead the country and its people forward. The Party adheres more to modern thoughts and shares its destiny with the general public. It will share the destiny of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.

At the initial stage of the founding of the CPC, China was beset with hardships and difficulties. Once the CPC imported Marxism from Europe, it held high the banner of this theory. On the other hand, the CPC was dedicated to sinicizing it so that it could serve China's revolution and development in a more practical and compelling manner.

From Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, all are the major achievements of the sinicization of Marxism.
