Albert Einstein said education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school. However, school plays an indispensable part in education. This time, we came to Beijing City International School (also known as YueCheng International School) and the Superintendent of YueCheng Education Nick Bowley shared his views on education.

Mr. Bowley has worked as international school head in many countries, including the UK, Syria, Tanzania and Jordan. Both China and the West are looking into each other’s best practices for a better way to educate children, and he believes the best ideas of the two approaches could blend together.

Enquiry is the first and foremost priority in cultivating student's creativity, said Mr. Bowley in the interview. Schools that help children become creative focus their learning on questions of different levels of thinking, he said.

Mr. Bowley has been devoting his whole life to international education, and he continues to cultivate young talent.
