Native to Japan, the cherry trees were planted in Bonn in 1980. And every spring since, this breathtaking view lingers for two to three weeks in April.
The narrow streets are among the most famous "cherry blossom avenues" in the world, attracting both locals and visitors to admire this gorgeous pink world annually.
The blossoms are in full bloom now. Soon, there will be carpeted layers of delicate petals, creating a different spectacle.
