The South-South Cooperation (SSC) to Boost Action for Climate was held in UNDP Compound Beijing, China on the Sep. 12. SSC calls for developing countries to share knowledge, skills, expertise and resources in order to meet their development goals through concerted efforts. “The clock is ticking. We have no time to lose. But, through concerted efforts, it is a race that we can win. Tackling climate change will require an unprecedented effort from all sectors of society, including enhanced south-south cooperation and partnerships”, UN Resident Coordinator Nicholas Rosellini said in his opening remarks.
The event consists of a presentation on South-South Cooperation and a panel discussion on South-South Cooperation for Climate Change.
