The admission letter of Southeast University in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province comprises of a case. When you open the case, the anthem of Southeast University automatically plays. Souvenirs include a printed emblem of the university, a campus card, a souvenir card, and a set of customized commemorative stamps.
Tianjin University has adopted AR technologies in its admission letter this year. After scanning the picture of the original building of the university printed on the cover of the admission letter with a mobile phone, a 3D cartoon image of the university's artificial intelligence (AI) news anchor Hai Xiao Tang appears on the screen, to brief people on Tianjin University.
The admission letter of Peking University has an ancient-style board on the center of the inside page. Three Chinese characters "Da Xue Tang" are inscribed on the board, which represent the original name of the university. Besides the admission letter, Peking University also sent out seven letters written by the university's seven "freshmen" from different years ranging from 1958 to 2010. The chosen seven wrote of their pursuits and gains while studying at university.

Jiangnan University in Wuxi City, east China's Jiangsu Province, sent each of its new students a set of customized woodcuts together with the admission letter. The four pieces feature a library, a bridge, a statue of an immortal Asian giant softshell turtle, and the north gate of the university, which are all famous landmarks.
Zhejiang A&F University in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, sent new students environmentally-friendly admission letters made of sliced bamboo veneer, which is the fruit of the university's self-developed new technology of deep bamboo processing.
