About 20,000 revelers participated in the Food Fight where more than 160 tons of tomatoes were thrown in the streets.
The festival started in 1945, which is held on the last Wednesday of August each year in the town of Bunol near to Valencia, Spain.
This annual event has become a major tourist attraction for the area.
Revelers swam in tomato pulp and poured it over each other during the annual Tomatina festival in Bunol.
