(Photo: Xinhua) The Chengdu-Chongqing regional economic zone whose construction began in January 2020 recorded major breakthroughs in mechanism innovation, infrastructure construction connection, and cooperation in economy and people's livelihood during the past year, said a Xinhua report. The dual city economic circle, as the fourth pillar region following the Yangtze River Delta region, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, will accelerate its high-quality development in the coming year.
