The China-Europe Railway Express freight train completed its 10,000th trip on Sunday, arriving in Wuhan, Hubei Province from Hamburg, Germany.

Linking China and Europe, the train has played a critical role in China’s process of opening-up to the outside world, and serves as a tie connecting countries in the Belt and Road regions.

The train has carried more and more valuable cargo over the years. Its freight includes IT products, clothing, wine, furniture and machinery. (Compiled by Xu Zheqi)
