Thousands of Chinese fishermen are preparing themsleves for next sail-off since China's summer fishing suspension ended on August 16. 

On Thurday, fishing boats at Chuanzhou harbour departed for fishing with hopes for the harvest season. 

Xiangzhi fishing port in Shishi City is the largest one in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. Quanzhou is also known as the starting place of the Maritime Silk Road.

Most of the fishing boats will fish in the waters off the Diaoyu Islands.
