Hundreds of dogs raced against time while navigating various obstacles such as hoops, turns, ramps, weave poles, and tunnels, with their owners alongside signaling the course.
To qualify for a “Masters” level game, dogs must have achieved the higher titles. According to the event organizer, dog agility is practiced as a sporting activity, which requires teamwork of the trainer and the dog.
The game is part of annual Westminster Kennel Club dog show, one of the world’s biggest dog shows.
The dog show has been held since 1877 and attracts thousands of dogs from the world each year. It also features a competition on dog obedience and a major dog show.
