Located in Luanchuan county, central China’s Luoyang City in Henan Province, Laojunshan Mountain is a good place to escape the summer heat. On Sunday, a “cloud feast” attracted hundreds of daredevils to its mountainside at an altitude of 2,000 meters. /VCG Photo

Gathering on the narrow table stretching over a cliff in the air, the organizer invited visitors to enjoy free seasonal fruits and delicate snacks as well as the surrounding natural beauty. /VCG Photo

The feast is part of the annual summer festival of the scenic spot, which begins at the beginning of July each year and ends at the end of August. Each week during the festival, there will be recreational activities such as the Beer Festival and Photography Competition. /VCG Photo

Laojunshan Mountain is acclaimed for its rich natural landscapes, diverse plants and a variety of ethnic cultural resources. The place was named after Tai Shang Lao Jun, a legendary figure in ancient Chinese mythology and a widely recognized progenitor of Taoism. /VCG Photo
