'Golden avenue' of plane trees in SW China's Guizhou captivates overseas visitors

More than 100 plane trees line the banks of a river in the Huaxi National Urban Wetland Park along Yingbin Road in Huaxi district, Guiyang city, southwest China's Guizhou Province, forming a "golden avenue" of autumn foliage.
Overseas guests stopped to enjoy the scenery during a themed activity hosted by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Guizhou Provincial Committee. Local women dressed in ethnic costumes performed dances on the avenue.
"The plane trees, the picturesque scenery and the ethnic dances come together so naturally. I truly felt the beauty of harmony between people and nature," said Kanchanit Phisphant, a Thai travel vlogger.
Building on the avenue's appeal as an autumn attraction, Huaxi district has rolled out roadside concerts and ethnic song and dance performances, bringing together autumn scenery and ethnic culture to offer visitors more immersive experiences.
