The cheongsam, also known as Qipao, is a type of traditional tight-fitting dress with distinctive Chinese features.

At the opening ceremony, more than 1,200 models presented a show of different styles of Qipao with embroidery patterns, paintings, and ancient poetry.

The eight-day festival presents forums, exhibitions, as well as Qipao culture-related activities.
