A humpback whale jumped out of the Pacific Ocean near the Uramba Bahia Malaga National Natural Park in Colombia, on August 12, 2018. (Photos: VCG)

Humpback whales migrate annually from the Antarctic Peninsula to the coast of the Colombian Pacific Ocean, an approximate distance of 8,500 km, to give birth and nurse their young.

Humpback whales are about 18 meters long.
