The colorful Hindu spring festival is usually held at the end of the winter season, on the last full moon of the lunar month.
Participants expressed good wishes through different colors. For example, red powder stands for love and fertility, while green stands for a new beginning.

Nowadays, people in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and even the UK and US celebrate the Holi festival. They hold parties, concerts and colorful events over the country, allowing others not in India to enjoy the festival as well.
