Starting from 2010, the printing and dyeing factories scattered around Keqiao District of Shaoxing were restructured in a dedicated industrial zone equipped with eco-friendly utilities and waste disposal facilities.

In 2017, the total product value of the industry saw a year-on-year growth of 20. 3 percent, while production of printed textiles grew by 12 percent.
