This week, Nanjing, a city in Jiangsu Province, launched a project to keep fallen autumn leaves on the street for a longer view of the beautiful season.

Sweeping has been suspended on the sidewalks and parks in Nanjing’s main area for two or three days.

Routine cleaning work is still going on. Sanitation workers will collect garbage separately instead of sweeping the whole street.

Residents can take distinctive photos with the golden view of autumn.
