China Electric Power Construction Co’s branch in Shandong has been the contractor for Noor III since 2015.

Noor III comprises a 160 MW solar power tower and is scheduled to be completely operational by the end of 2018. Once put into operation, the Noor solar energy complex will provide clean energy for more than 1 million Moroccan households and export surplus electricity to Europe.
