Old Town of Lijiang sees tourism rebound

Backed by pristine scenes of nature and the elegant beauty of ancient Chinese architecture, the ancient town preserves a historic townscape of high quality and authenticity.

Since the Spring Festival, the Old Town of Lijiang has seen a promising tourism rebound as visitors flood in. According to statistics, in the first quarter of 2023, Lijiang is expected to receive 18.38 million tourists. Tourism revenue generated during Q1 of 2023 is expected to total 26.8 billion yuan ($3.9 billion).
