The shape of the rings in the picture is very similar to that of Saturn's rings.
There are several "Saturn's rings".
It is located in the northwest of the Qaidam Basin. The area of over 30,000 square kilometers has various landforms, including Yardang, Danxia, salt beaches, halo lakes and sand dunes.
Qaidam Basin, known as China's "cornucopia", is located in Haixi Prefecture of Qinghai Province and covers an area of 256,500 square kilometers. (Compiled by Chen Yingke)
